The Harvard Peristaltic Pump consists of a control unit, a motor drive, a tubing cassette and some sample tubing. The pump can deliver solutions over a range of flow rates from 0.001 to 1,500 ml/min depending on the motor drive used. Choose from three interchangeable motor drives. The motor drive modules provide flow over the following ranges:
• P-70 drive provides flow rates from 0.001 to 70 ml/min
• P-230 drive provides flow rates from 0.001 to 230 ml/min
• P-1500 drive provides flow rates from 0.01 to 1,500 ml/min
A complete range of programmable functions allow the pump to be easily adapted to a wide range of dispensing applications. The pump has pre-programmed flow profiles for:
• Constant Flow
• Flow Ramps
• Pulsatile Flow
• Concentration Based Fluid Delivery
In addition to the flow profiles, the pump has advanced user options that permit the pump to be controlled by a PC from its USB inputs as well as a range of options such as:
• Remote initiated start/stop times
• Communication with external devices through 15-pin I/O
• Constant pressure through BNC
All settings can easily be saved as user generated methods in the pump's memory. The method can be easily recalled and run very quickly, saving researchers valuable time. Connectivity to a wide range of external input or output devices is easily accomplished. A constant pressure mode may be utilized in conjunction with a pressure transducer. The pump will automatically rotate at the proper RPM for the tube selection and flow rate chosen. To further increase the accuracy, Harvard Peristaltic Pumps offer a rapid calibration routine to further optimize flow accuracy by entering a measured volume of fluid collected.
