The NBC-402 Nerve Bath Chamber is assembled from inert, non-corroding

materials. The conductive tracks are heavy gauge Ag/AgCl wire, and the

lead connectors and sockets are gold plated. The NBC-402 is ideal for

recordings from the earth worm nerve chord, bull frog sciatic nerves or

the frog nerve-muscle preparation.

For recording compound action potentials in the student laboratory from

the sciatic nerve of an average-sized frog, the smaller NBC-401 is

recommended.
